The MSO1104Z-S is the 100MHz model with built-in function / arbitrary waveform generator in the MSO1000Z range of 1GSa/s, 4-channel digital oscilloscopes with built-in logic analyser. It offers exceptional flexibility, performance and features for the price. Four analogue probes and one logic analyser probe-set are included. Several options are available (see ‘

My new MSO1104-Z-S
I have tried many of the features on my new MSO1104-Z-S.
A well thought out and mature user interface that seems logical to me.
I hooked it up to the PC using USB and LAN and got the Excel example to work over NI’s VISA drivers.
You can find the scope using a Web browser on the LAN. It does not seem to have a way of sending commands over the web browser interface.
This would have been a good way to set up the oscillators and arbitrary waveform trace.
The RS232 and IIC decode are easy to use.
The measurements and cursors are well thought out.
The screen shots are good and clear.
I am really pleased with it so far!
