Programming itself can be achieved in many different ways with tools which are largely the choice of the customer. For this reason, we can’t support your systems but we can sometimes help you find information – we ask you to first review the programming guide for your instrument and make sure it is successfully connected to your computer system and then if a fault is found in the way the instrument responds to commands we can feedback and ask if there might be warranty support available, or a UK person to assist, subject to your terms of purchase.
Can I Get Rigol Firmware Updates?
Yes – You can download the latest official Rigol firmware, without the need to register, from the Rigol China website.
Rigol firmware downloads are usually .rar containers that also include an installation instructions file and a versions history file.
Please Note:
- All attempts to upgrade the firmware outside of Telonic Instruments is done entirely at the owners’ risk and is not covered by the warranty.
- Telonic Instruments recommends the use of a UPS throughout the firmware update process.
- Some Rigol instruments running old firmware can be damaged during the update process without the proper know-how – Follow the installation instructions carefully.
- It is not possible to roll-back to previous firmware versions on some Rigol instruments.
